Lavender has long been used in aromatherapy for its relaxing and soothing properties, so it's not surprising that it is one of the most popular candle scents. But with 39 species in the Lavandula genus of flowers and a wide variety of cross-pollinated hybrids to choose from, finding the very best pure essential oil for our lavender candles took some time.
