Collection: Scented Tea Light Candles

Tea light candles are used in home decor to create a warm and cozy atmosphere and ambiance. For the same reason, tea lights are popular for weddings and events. They can also be used for meditation, yoga, and to commemorate a loved one. Tea light candles can be found burning in churches and places of worship, spas, and wellness centers. True to their name, tea light candles are used in tea houses to sit under a pot of tea to keep the tea warm.

Each tea light will burn for up to four plus hours. Unburned, GoodLight scented tea light candles last for up to two years. Due to the nature of them being made with all natural ingredients, separation of the essential oils from the wax can occur. When that happens the oil gums up the wick and it won’t light or won’t stay lit for very long.

When placed into water, both our scented and unscented tea light candles will float. The flame will extinguish, though, if water happens to splash onto the surface of the candle.

Because tea lights have the aluminum cup surrounding the wax, it is not necessary to burn them in a holder; however, we do recommend at the very least placing the tea light on a tray or heat resistant surface because the metal cup can get hot. Additionally, placing the tea light in a candle holder can add to the decor and ambiance of your environment; the glow from the flame can be enhanced by the candle holder.
