Some are! GoodLight offers 11 different scented votive candles made with pure essential and botanical oils. These scented votives come poured in colored glass and ready to burn. The most popular scented votives are Lavender, Noble Fir, Orange Clove Cinnamon, and Vanilla Nutmeg Cardamom. Not all votives are scented, though - we also offer unscented votive candles if scented isn’t your thing.
Votive candles are small candles that are made to go molten when burned so they must be contained to collect the melted wax. These candles are typically used in restaurants, churches, and for decoration around homes. GoodLight offers 11 different scented votive candles that come in glass and are ready to burn. We also offer unscented votive candles.
Yes, votive candles are made to go completely molten so a holder is required to contain the molten wax. If you do not use a holder when you burn a votive candle, you will end up with a messy pool of melted wax all over the place. GoodLight’s scented votives are poured into colorful glass containers so you don’t need to purchase a separate candle holder - just light the wick and enjoy the beautiful scent. Our unscented votive candles, however, do not come in glass so you’ll need to purchase the container separately.
Pillar candles are free standing, cylindrical shaped candles that burn for long extended periods of time (up to 60 hours). They are designed with a firm outer layer that contains the melted wax, therefore no holder is necessary. Votive candles are small candles that are made to go molten when burned so they must be contained in a candle holder to collect the melted wax. Votive candles have shorter burn times (up to 15 hours). Both pillars and votive candles are used to create a warm and cozy ambiance for home decor, weddings, and events.
