Important note: There is a natural process called "bloom" that happens to our pumpkin candles. Bloom refers to the whitish cast that takes over the outside of the candle. It is not harmful nor does it affect the way the candle burns; it is simply a natural occurrence. The wax for these molded candles is softer than our other candles and is caused by the oils in this softer wax rising to the surface and crystallizing. This can happen for a number of reasons, including changes in temperature, humidity, or air pressure. It can be unsightly, so some people may prefer to remove it. If you want to remove the bloom, you can use a soft cloth to buff it away.
Instructions: Trim wick to 1/4" before each burn. Burn for no longer than 1 hour at a time. If flame exceeds 1", extinguish candle, let cool, trim wick before relighting. Burn on a heat-resistant dish to collect melted wax.
